Hi all! My name is Brittany Berlin, and I am THRILLED to be serving as one of your vice presidents for the upcoming 2022-2023 academic year. I am a sophomore at FAU High School and am double majoring in chemistry and mathematics. Outside of school, I enjoy practicing piano, swimming, and reading. Additionally, I am a vegetarian and love experimenting with different plant-based recipes.
A few years ago, my grandfather enrolled in a life-saving clinical trial through Harvard University; ever since then, I have been fascinated with the healthcare field. Within the past few months, I have had the honor of participating in health conferences hosted through Johns Hopkins University and the University of Washington. Furthermore, I have also had the pleasure of partaking in the Yale International Relations Leadership Institute and promise to translate the skills learned through these programs into HOSA.
I am beyond excited for a FANTASTIC year with all of the AMAZING HOSA members. Feel free to contact me any time with any questions, concerns, or book recommendations at bberlin2021@fau.edu.

Hello all!! I am so grateful to be serving as Executive Advisor for this organization. I have been involved with HOSA: Future Health Professionals since high school, and I have great pride in this organization. My goal in this position is to assist and mentor the current President and fellow officers in giving as much opportunity as possible to any students who plan on entering the healthcare field, or simply enjoy the sciences. Through opportunities that we offer, I hope that our organization gives students an experience to remember. In addition to my position here with HOSA, I have taught Organic Chemistry as a TA in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry for 5 semesters. Regarding academics, I have graduated with a Bachelors in Neuroscience and Behavior from here at FAU, and am a Master’s degree student in Biomedical Sciences. I am greatly involved in research, as my research involves investigation of novel marine products on various cancer cell lines, the neuroimmunological etiology of a rare neurological disorder. My future goals are to graduate from medical school and establish a career in the field of neurology or neurosurgery. It is with great honor to serve this organization and I am excited to see what the future holds. WELCOME TO THE HOSA FAMILY!
