Welcome to FAU HOSA! I couldn’t be more excited and honored to be your chapter President! In 2018, I founded a HOSA chapter at my high school and have been growing my passion for this organization since. I placed in the top 10 at the International Leadership Conference twice in the community awareness and medical innovation events. At FAU, I am on the pre-med track to become a dermatologist and am currently working in a private dermatology practice as a medical assistant. I am a research assistant in Dr. Ken Dawson-Scully’s lab where I study and develop behavior assays for drug discovery using an electroconvulsive seizure model with the C. elegans nematode! I hope you find a love and passion for HOSA like I have. Let’s have a great year together!
My name is Joubin Jebelli and I am honored to serve as the Vice President for HOSA during the 2019-2020 academic year. In regards to my academic pursuits, I am currently pursuing a dual degree in Neuroscience and the Biological Sciences. My passion for the sciences has also inspired me to work tirelessly in 2 different research labs that includes the areas of: marine natural products chemistry and cancer therapeutics. Ultimately, my passion for research and teaching has steered me in the pursuits of one day obtaining an M.D./Ph.D. I have had the honor and privilege of serving in numerous leadership roles in multiple student organizations including: AMSA, Global Medical Brigades, Chemistry Club, and GAP MEDICS. I now serve as the Vice President for HOSA while also serving as the co-president for a new organization on campus known as Medical Missions Abroad. Serving as Vice President for HOSA, my goal is to have a significantly positive impact on our member’s lives and to continue the tradition of excellence that is expected from our HOSA members. Additionally, I hope to assist our staff by offering HOSA members plenty of shadowing, volunteering, and fundraising opportunities.
Hello everyone! My name is Samantha Kennelly, and this year in HOSA, I have the extraordinary opportunity to serve as Co-Vice President! It is truly an honor to be a part of such a renowned program like this one. I am so excited to see and meet everyone involved in this interactive and competitive organization. This year is especially exciting now that we are back up and running face to face! In addition to my fulfillments as VP, I study full time in FAU’s Health Science Program and work full time as a Medical Surgical PCT at Boca Raton Regional Hospital in pursuit of my Master of Physician Associate Studies. It is my pleasure to welcome you all to FAU’s HOSA, where WE are the future of health!
Hello everyone, my name is Sabreena Cary and I am beyond grateful to be one of the treasurers for HOSA. I am a junior majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior, and a medical/surgical assistant at the Boca Raton Skin Institute for Dr. Schwartzberg! Career-wise I plan on attending PA school in hopes of specializing in orthopedics. Nonetheless, I have been a participant in HOSA since I was in High-School and continue to show love at the collegiate level. I hope that you all will consider the endless possibilities that HOSA has to offer! See you all soon.
Ariana is a senior majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior and minoring in Psychology as well as Biological Sciences. She is the lead prep TA for General Chemistry 1 & 2 labs as well as a pharmacy technician on the weekends. In addition, she also enjoys tutoring others and having the opportunity to work with sea turtles in Dr. Wyneken’s research lab. Ariana plans to get her Master’s in Biomedical Sciences and become more involved in other areas of research after finishing her undergraduate studies. Ultimately, her goal is to attend medical school to become a neurosurgeon. She is very excited to continue seeing all the amazing opportunities HOSA has to offer.
Anastasia is a junior at FAU majoring in Biology with the intentions of working in the medical field in the future. She spends time volunteering at a local hospital and working as a Pharmacy Technician as well. She is happy to be part of the HOSA family, looking forward to the valuable opportunities the organization offers to members. Anastasia as a member of the E-board hopes to be part of the development of the organization with her position.
Madeline is a sophomore at FAU and is majoring in Health Science. She first joined HOSA in her sophomore year of highschool. While at FAU, she decided to take her membership further and join HOSA’s eboard to become more involved in the organization. Madeline plans to pursue a career in the medical field as a pediatrician.

Kayla is a Junior who has been a part of HOSA since her junior year of high school. She enjoys the multiple opportunities that HOSA gives her. Other clubs that she is part of is Lambda United and Splash Pals. She hopes to find a career in Occupational Therapy. Kayla also currently works as a RA at GPT on campus. She loves the on-campus lifestyle. Last year she partook in the CPR/First Aid competition and won first place with her partner Kristen. She has enjoyed being a part of the FAU HOSA family and is looking forward to continuing to be part of the club.

Kaili is currently a junior at FAU and is majoring in psychology. She wants to pursue a career as a physician assistant after college. She is focused on improving HOSA: Future Health Professionals at FAU, and wants to develop the organization with experience and integrity. She is excited about what the future has in store and enjoys being a part of the HOSA family.

Neha is a senior at FAU and is majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior. She aspires to attend medical school and pursue a career as a pediatrician. Neha has been a part of HOSA since her sophomore year of high school and hopes to continue on her journey with FAU HOSA. Outside of HOSA, she works at Boca VIPediatrics and volunteers with various organizations in her community. She can’t wait to contribute to this amazing officer team and help advance this chapter of HOSA: Future Health Professionals!
Senior Executive Advisor
Hello all!! I am so grateful to be serving as Executive Advisor for this organization. I have been involved with HOSA: Future Health Professionals since high school, and I have great pride in this organization. My goal in this position is to assist and mentor the current President and fellow officers in giving as much opportunity as possible to any students who plan on entering the healthcare field, or simply enjoy the sciences. Through opportunities that we offer, I hope that our organization gives students an experience to remember. In addition to my position here with HOSA, I have taught Organic Chemistry as a TA in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry for 5 semesters. Continuing with extracurriculars, I have spent hundreds of hours in the clinical setting of doctors’ offices and hospitals. Regarding academics, I have graduated with a Bachelors in Neuroscience and Behavior from here at FAU, and am a Master’s degree student in Biomedical Sciences. I am greatly involved in research, as my research involves investigation of novel marine products on various cancer cell lines, the neuroimmunological etiology of a rare neurological disorder. My future goals are to graduate from medical school and establish a career in the field of neurology or neurosurgery. It is with great honor to serve this organization and I am excited to see what the future holds. WELCOME TO THE HOSA FAMILY!
